Tomtex is produced
using an extremely lightweight polyethylene film laminate material
for an effective barrier against a broad range of chemicals in Type 3 & 4 applications. See the Chemical Permeation Guide for more info.
Whilst chemical barrier may not be as high as some competitive products, the lightness and flexibility of the
material makes a more comfortable garment, and in many applications
such as tank cleaning and agricultural spraying the chemical barrier
of Tomtex is perfectly adequate.
Unlike most
competitor products, Tomtex is an environmentally friendly pale green
colour, important in some agricultural and outdoor applications where
traditional bright yellow garments tend to attract insects!
Tomtex also features a
double zip and storm flap for quick and simple sealing of the front
fastening.
